ISM 2027 runs January 30 to February 3, 2027 at Koelnmesse, the world’s largest trade fair for sweets and snacks: manufacturers, retailers and buyers from around the globe open the industry’s year in Cologne. Messebau Köln und Düsseldorf (German for exhibition stand construction Cologne and Dusseldorf) is operated by Standbuilder International, Inc.; your ISM exhibition booth is planned and built by CBS Neospace GmbH of Ratingen, ISO 9001:2015 certified.

What makes an ISM booth different

  • Tasting needs infrastructure. Serving counters, a sink, cooling and storage for product resupply belong in the booth plan; water and power connections are ordered from Koelnmesse on deadline.
  • Buyer meetings need quiet. Semi-open or closed meeting rooms for listing talks often matter more than open show space at ISM; sightlines and acoustics are planned in.
  • Brands work through graphics. In dense halls, long-distance visibility decides. High-grade large-format graphics and clear lighting push even compact trade show booths to the front.

Your timeline to January 30, 2027

As of July 2026 the runway is comfortable; custom exhibition stands ideally start now, rental stands by November at the latest:

  1. Now to September: inquiry via the contact form; concept, 3D view and quote within five business days, contract with CBS Neospace GmbH.
  2. October: engineering including kitchen and serving zones; venue orders with Koelnmesse (power, water, rigging).
  3. November to December: fabrication, graphics production, cooling and fit-out planning, logistics.
  4. January: build-up in the venue’s time window, turnkey handover before January 30.
  5. After the show: dismantling from February 3, with optional storage for follow-up events.

What an ISM booth costs

Cologne ranges apply: customized rental stands about 400 to 800 EUR per m² of construction, custom builds from about 800 EUR per m², plus Koelnmesse space rental; kitchen units, cooling and tasting fit-out are priced by project. Published ranges by size are on the rental stands page.
