Exhibition Stands in Dusseldorf
Messe Dusseldorf hosts some of the world’s most important trade fairs. Our executing partner is based in Ratingen, a few kilometers from the halls, which changes what is possible during your build-up.
Messebau Köln und Düsseldorf (German for exhibition stand construction Cologne and Dusseldorf) is operated by Standbuilder International, Inc.; every Dusseldorf stand is planned and built by CBS Neospace GmbH of Ratingen, Germany, certified to ISO 9001:2015. For Dusseldorf projects, geography is a genuine advantage: Ratingen borders Dusseldorf, about eight kilometers (five miles) from the fairgrounds as the crow flies, roughly a 15-minute drive via the A44 highway.
Why proximity matters during build-up
Trade fair construction is logistics under time pressure. Gate slots are scheduled, hall aisles are crowded, and anything missing has to arrive fast:
- Same-day resupply: a missing panel, graphic or piece of furniture comes from our own warehouse stock in Düren, not from a vendor across the country.
- Same-day changes: swap a graphic, add a counter, fix a damaged element during build-up without blowing the schedule.
- Reliable delivery slots: short distances make Messe Dusseldorf’s timed check-in system manageable even when slots shift.
- Lower logistics cost: short hauls reduce freight cost and the risk of expensive express runs.
Between two shows, your booth or graphics can stay in storage in Düren, ready to go for the next build-up.
Messe Dusseldorf in numbers
The venue offers around 262,700 m² of hall space in 17 halls plus roughly 43,000 m² of outdoor grounds by the Rhine. Its calendar includes world-leading fairs:
- MEDICA (medical technology, annually in November): most recently more than 5,000 exhibitors and around 80,000 trade visitors; November 16 to 19, 2026
- boot (watersports, annually in January): around 1,500 exhibitors across 16 halls; January 23 to 31, 2027
- ProWein (wines and spirits): March 7 to 9, 2027
- ALUMINIUM (aluminium industry, October 6 to 8, 2026) and glasstec (the world’s leading glass industry fair, October 20 to 23, 2026): the next big capital goods dates, each with its own page covering timeline and costs
- drupa, K, interpack, wire and Tube, A+A: more capital goods fairs in multi-year cycles
Each fair has its own build-up windows, logistics rules and design regulations. CBS Neospace knows the Dusseldorf procedures from years of projects, including MEDICA and boot, and handles registrations, permits and venue orders for you, documented in English.
