It is operated by Standbuilder International, Inc., based in Atlanta, Georgia; all stands are planned and built by CBS Neospace GmbH of Ratingen, Germany, certified to ISO 9001:2015. Two world-class venues, one partner

Koelnmesse (Cologne): around 284,000 m² (roughly 3 million sq ft) of exhibition space in 11 halls, one of the largest fairgrounds in the world in an inner-city location, hosting some 80 trade shows and fairs a year including Anuga (food and beverage), gamescom (games), interzum (furniture production) and imm cologne (interiors).

Messe Dusseldorf: around 262,700 m² (roughly 2.8 million sq ft) of hall space in 17 halls, home of MEDICA (the world’s leading medical trade fair, November 16 to 19, 2026), boot (watersports, January 23 to 31, 2027), ProWein (wines and spirits), drupa and K. Our executing partner CBS Neospace is headquartered in Ratingen, just a few kilometers (about five miles) from the Dusseldorf fairgrounds, and keeps its own warehouse stock in Düren in the greater Cologne area, which means quick decisions on site and same-day resupply during build-up. How a project works from the US

  1. Inquiry: describe your trade fair, booth size and goals via the contact form. You will hear back by the next business day.
  2. Concept and quote: within five business days you receive a proposal or a qualified response, including a 3D design for custom projects.
  3. Planning: design approval, engineering, venue permits and orders, all documented in English. Your contract for the construction work is concluded directly with CBS Neospace GmbH under German law.
  4. Fabrication and build-up: production in Ratingen, delivery per the venue schedule, turnkey handover before the show opens.
  5. Show support and dismantling: the team stays reachable during the fair, dismantles afterwards and can store your booth or graphics for the next show.

Do you work in English throughout the project?

Yes. Inquiry, consultation, design, quotes, venue paperwork summaries and on-site handover can all be handled in English. German-language forms required by the venues are processed for you by the German team.

What does an exhibition stand in Germany cost?

As indicative guidance: system stands from about 250 to 450 EUR per m² of booth construction, customized rental stands about 400 to 800 EUR per m², fully custom builds from about 800 EUR per m². Venue space rental comes on top and varies by fair. A complete 20 m² rental booth typically runs 9,000 to 18,000 EUR before space rental. Can you handle venue bureaucracy and permits for us?

Yes, that is part of the service: registrations, power, water and internet orders, rigging points, statics and approval procedures with Koelnmesse or Messe Dusseldorf are handled by CBS Neospace within your project, so deadlines and surcharges do not become your problem.

Which trade shows and fairs do you cover?

All events at the Cologne and Dusseldorf fairgrounds, including MEDICA, boot, ProWein, drupa and K in Dusseldorf and Anuga, gamescom, interzum and imm cologne in Cologne. Exhibition stand, trade show booth, exhibit or display stand: what exactly do you build?

All of them, because the terms describe the same thing. US exhibitors usually say trade show booth or exhibit, British English prefers exhibition stand, and exhibition booth or display stand are common too; in German it is a Messestand (plural: Messestände). Whatever you call it, we design, build and rent trade show booths and exhibition stands for the Cologne and Dusseldorf fairgrounds.

What lead time do we need from the US?

Rental stands: six to ten weeks before the show, three months or more for flagship fairs. Custom booths: three to six months. Add time for internal approvals on your side; the earlier the inquiry, the better the availability and pricing.
